Easy to take out of the box, plug in and use. Temperature is close to what the pre-determined temperature says it is. If I could change one thing about this product, I would make the cord to plug it in a big longer. It was very short and did not reach the outlet.

This heater is a no-brainer just plug it in put it in the water and your tank is warm to 78° love it simply used no fuss no must highly recommend it to starters

I went from one 500 watt heater to two 200 watt heaters. I love the preset heaters, especially in my saltwater tank; just put it in and forget about the three days adjusting the temp on the other type of heaters. I'll stay with these forever.
