Vertex VX100 Adjustable Bench

Not Confident in This Product

The product is okay overall. It functions well enough, but after less than a year of use, some of the metal components have already begun to bend. I wish I had purchased a more reputable brand. What has really disappointed me, though, is the customer service. I was upgraded to this bench because of extended lead times on another model, and since it was presented as an “upgrade,” I didn’t spend much time researching it. After receiving the bench, I noticed the listed weight limit on the website was only 330 lbs (which now appears to have been changed). I submitted a question through the web form and was told by an employee that the 330 lb limit was correct. Following that confirmation, I emailed customer service to express my concerns about the limited capacity, but I never received a response. Now the website lists the capacity at 660 lbs, but after the conflicting information and lack of communication, I honestly don’t know what to believe. At this point, I don’t feel confident using this bench under heavy loads.

Amazing bench for the money!

Solid, yet not too heavy. Holds steady when doing all lifts and even Bulgarians. Easy to adjust. Would definitely recommend !

Easy to Adjust; Can Support heavy lifting

The bench is comfortable and feels incredibly sturdy. It's easy to adjust for incline exercises, and is comfortable. The instructions were ok, but did not contain recommendations for tools to use. It also was vague on the final long screw that attacked the top and bottom to the bench; the visual instructions were missing this step. The instructions also failed to mention the amount of brute force necessary to properly screw the bolts through the washers. Overall, the bench itself is fantastic but the assembly instructions were lacking in clarity.
