When I first purchased them, I was a little worried that it was a silly idea. I mean, I run hot ALL THE TIME. Would another layer really be helpful? Um, yes. Yes it would. These shorts keep me cool, dry, and comfy all day. When I forget to put them on, I'm pretty miserable. If you're questioning, give them a shot. I initially bought 2 pairs and then bought 2 more (I wear a lot of dresses).
