Excellent quality, but correct sizing is major problem

In terms of quality, this is the best compression stocking I have ever owned. The size chart recommended a size small because I have very slim ankles and thighs. My calf measurement is closer to medium. I found it very very difficult to pull the stockings over my ankle. When I was able to do this, it felt fine until I got to my thighs where they were too loose. I have worn compression stockings over 30 years and never had this much difficulty putting on the stocking. I think the problem would have been solved had I gotten a size medium, and then just taken a tuck into the top lace border.

Way too tight!
