I have many Edgewater patterns, but this one just became my fave. It stays in place, no fuss, and is such a flattering cut. I like my swimsuits to have cute, modern shapes with very little that can move and change with activity. It has no bows or long straps, which is perfect for an active day in the pool or on the beach. I am an advanced home sewist, and the last step before taking the suit to the right side is a little complex, but Katie explains it well, and I didn’t have any trouble. Someone with less experience definitely might have trouble, but watch the video, read and re-read the instructions, and maybe make a toile version before cutting into your good fabric. The top can be gathered, twisted, knotted or left plain. I ended up using the back piece as the front and twisting it, as I don’t need as much chest support as others might. I made the cheekier version and when I tried it on, thought it was a little much at home. However on the beach, I’m loving it. This pattern got plenty of options! 🖤

I made this for an upcoming music festival and i absolutely love the billie one piece! I added some inches to the waist to make it a high waisted fit. Katie was so helpful and accommodating with all my questions on how to achieve my desired look! You really can do so much with this one piece pattern! Thank you so much again katie! <3

I enjoyed making this bathing suit so much. This style is actually my favorite because you can play around with how you want to make it. The video tutorial was easy and simple. Thank you so much for making this pattern. Such a big fan of yours!
