I appreciate the soft (but compact) rubber, doesn't make any noise when I throw it around

Simple and far less bulky than a deadlift jack. I use two of these to elevate both sides of the bar at once. The symmetry is a nice detail, easy to roll the bar up on it regardless of which way the wedge is facing.
