At my current age, the "not hot" feature is absolutely the most important. I was skeptical that they wouldn't make me hot because all the other closed toe slippers I tried make me sweat. These have great arch support and I love putting them on the minute I come in the house.

I got the Victoria Wool House Shoe in size 37. I usually wear a 71/2 US and they do run large. They are a little large but work perfectly with a thicker sock. I had no problem at all with the higher arch. Wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't in the description. The slipper is warm and cozy and the rubber sole works well for me as I go in and out to our deck in the backyard.
