The Liver and Beef Mince is one of this pensioners staples. I buy this regularly along with the sausages.
I buy it for its practicality and nutritional value. My basic idea is 1kg can be stored into six (6) cliplock containers, perfect for a single cooking dish... enough for 2 people once other ingredients are added.
In practicality, this equates to me having about $2 of mince per meal... ie, 10-12 meals
