Great alternative to wall mount

The Hoselink device is mountable both on a wall or post, but equally at the ground level if a vertical mounting surface is unavailable. It’s very simple to install — certainly not any more difficult than the standard wall mount. Four bolts. The hardest thing is drilling the holes (which may not be hard at all, depending). The unit sits perfectly in it and works just as well as the wall version.

The fixed ground mount for your hose reel is fantastic in that it works well and saves me from having to drill holes in the side of the house - something I hate doing. One suggestion. It would be nice if the mount had an extension so the hose reel sits a little higher, not much, just a few inches. I’m old, bending over is a pain, plus I’m concerned the upward pressure exerted on the reel when the hose is initially pulled out is eventually going to cause a stress point to give out - hose reels get old too.
