Creative Christmas gift kit

My 10 years old son has expressed an interest in making Christmas gifts this year. He has been whittling on pinewood, but saw about soapstone carving and wanted to try it. The figures are a bit more roughed in than we were hoping for ( not a block to work from), but are well sized. The included tools should help him complete these in reasonable time to give as gifts. The quality seems to be good and the packaging encouraged him to get started early.

I have purchased many of the soapstone carving kits over the last couple of years: 5 bears, 1 cat, and the bear/wolf kit. The kits are top notch and we had a lot of fun making them. The finished carving is unique to each person and display worthy.
