Excellent Fly Shop

We were long term customers of Sunriver Fly Shop, and were more than disappointed with the fly shop that took over the space in the building. We are happy for Bob to be out fishing instead of sitting behind his desk. However, it was great to meet and become friends with the folks at Stillwater Fly Shop. Clearly the best Fly Shop in that area, and one of the best in Oregon. Excellent service. Expert advice. They don't oversell, or just sell what is on the shelf, they direct you to what meets the customer's needs. Next time you are in Sunriver or Bend. Go by and meet them!

Asquith for saltwater

I now own the 9- 11 weight Asquiths for saltwater. I could have bought the 9- 11 weight Mavericks for a little less than the price of 1 and a 1/2 Asquiths That’s the price deferential and Mavericks are,IMHO; sages best saltwater rods at the current time The point is if you fish salt a lot the Asquith is worth the price They are great in the wind. They have plenty of backbone for fighting fish and they are a pleasure to cast in 9- 11.

A big Tarpon Rod 11 WT

I have not fished this rod yet but have cast it from my dock a few days. It really cast well, much better that my Winston 10WT even though it is a size bigger
