This item is extremely expensive for what it is and has many poor design choices IMO. I understand that it has a DC pump, but the pump had horrible flow. I would partly blame this on the slitted intake tube screen on the intake blocking flow. Also, the hanging brackets are basically useless and the entire weight of the fuge sits on the intake PVC elbow and on the outlet, essentially making the hanger brackets useless. They are also pretty loose and slide around with the weight of the water. It is worrying that they intended the weight of 3 gallons to be held by 6 nylon bolts LOL. Also, if you somehow overflow the box, water can come out of the hanger bracket screw holes. Who designed that? Terrible engineer. Why would you put HOLES millimeters above the natural water level? The LED stand is a nice touch as are the dosing holes and the waterfall extension. The acrylic IS cut incredibly nicely and the details are there and nice as well, but when the form is better than the function, I find poor.
