Erte, Meet Sanborn

Years ago, my now deceased nana passed along a book of Erte's famous colorful lithographic prints. I had never witnessed a style quite like Erte's, especially with its evocative depiction of Greek, Roman, and celestial mythology. As soon as I saw "Golden Flight," I was struck by the beautiful contrast of a male figure reaching towards the sun, as if like Apollo. Definitely worth the purchase and reminds me to stretch towards the heavens for that illuminating, dazzling light.
