Pleasantly surprised

I was very hesitant to order from McGee as I’ve never heard of this brand before and overall feedback on the brand is not that great. However, I really wanted this dresser so I took the plunge, and I was pleasantly surprised! It came in a reasonable amount of time (maybe even quicker than my warped expectations) and the dresser itself feels and looks delicious. I docked off one star because I think the color is slightly darker/duller than the photos BUT I think it’s still really pretty. The soft close is nice too. Other reviews complain it only works at the last inch but I feel like a reasonable amount of force gets it there easily anyway.. and I’m pretty petite so probably even less for some people. My experience with the delivery vendor was also positive. The delivery got delayed but it was easy to call them and they contacted me again when it was ready to reschedule. Day itself, they came on time and the contractors were polite and agreed to take off their shoes. All in all, it was a smooth experience and if you are on the fence with this dresser, I hope my review puts your doubts to rest!

Beautiful dresser!

This dresser is so pretty! The green color is both unique and a neutral. It is a very calming piece. I can fit a standard amount in each drawer. My only issues are that the lines between the drawers aren’t quite even and the drawers often stay just a little bit open if you allow them to soft close on their own. You have to push it the last little bit sometimes. But I’ve gotten multiple compliments on the look of this dresser.

Five stars for color and quality!

We were hesitant to place the order not knowing how the green would read and the fact that it's final sale. It is a beautiful deep green that tones well with blue and yellow greens. It works well with Farrow and Ball French Gray which is a yellow green but also tones with some blue green tiles in the next room. Exceptional quality.
