Waist seems as though it will stretch. I bought an xs, but have a very small waist. I would say it is the highest quality I have seen, hands down. Its thicker, so imagine fraying will be less of an issue. It was expensive. I am very long waisted for 98 lbs and standing at only 5ā1. I normally wear a small leotard, but need an xs because the seat is larger. Makes it nice when not wearing a skirt.

I love this skirt so much, it fits perfectly and is super lightweight and soft, plus modest but still nicely transparent. I was worried about sizing being an issue as I usually wear an XL in ballet skirts but this skirt is so stretchy and the M/L fits perfectly even on my hips. I did find that the twilight color is not as brown as the images show, but a bit more pale purple in person. Still I adore this skirt!
