This skirt is perfection. We purchased ML for my 5ā1 12 year old that wears xs/s leotards & it fits great. A little large on the waist but if you bunch down the fabic (as shown in the options for wearing) it fits better. The back goes past her knee and the front falls just above her knee.

Ethereal skirt
Elegant and ethereal skirt. I purchased the Gisella skirt in twilight to go along the Sofia long sleeve leotard in umber twilight and it is the perfect combo.
One thing I noticed is that, as I'm dancing, the large waist band tends to roll up and I need to pull it back down after every exercice. A mild inconvenience, perhaps due to my body shape. I'm still absolutely in love with this Bodile piece.
The fabric of the skirt is very delicate so I'm very mindful of not sitting on rugged surfaces or floors with it and I make sure my nails are filed properly to avoid any tear when I put it on. This goes for all pieces made with mesh.
I would definitely purchase it in another colour!
