Great sauna

The packaging for shipping was excellent - ships in a plywood crate on a big pallet, with the parts individually boxed inside. Everything arrived intact. Setup was pretty straightforward, although the instructions are mediocre at best - there were a couple of outright errors (maybe version changes that they've made to the product that haven't made it into the instructions yet), and the illustrations weren't too helpful. I had to clear up a couple of points of confusion by looking for third-party Youtube videos showing the build process. The Wi-Fi phone app is pretty amateurish looking, and getting it set up was extremely frustrating; they make a big deal of 2.4GHz vs 5GHz on your router, and they really mean it; the way I got it to finally sync was to entirely disable the 5GHz bands on my router for the duration of the setup process. But once you get past the aggravating setup process, the app seems to work. This is my first experience with an IR sauna vs the traditional kind, and so far I'm a bit disappointed with the IR type. I like the extreme heat of the traditional sauna a lot better; it always felt more therapeutic to me. The IR heating just doesn't give you the same feeling. Traditional wasn't an option for me because it would be prohibitive to retrofit the required electrical service into the location I wanted to set up the sauna, but IR does turn out to be a bit of a compromise. It helps a little if you give the sauna a LOT of lead time before getting in, maybe 40 minutes, so that it reaches its maximum temp of about 120 F before you start your session. But even that feels a bit tepid to me.
