Had a two pieces 7wt wich must have been at least 30 years old. Went salmon fishing and caught seven big ones with it. As my fishing was done, going back to the truck I fell with my rod and broke it… sent a message to Diamondback and received a reply within the hour. Obviously, parts were no longer available. I had an older Diamondback Backwater DGS800 that broke. They sent me the Aeroflex Saltwater 9’0" 8wt and it is a great replacement. It casts great and is built very well.
