Sadly these products absolutely reek of hardwood smoke and chemicals. I’ve tried airing them out for days outside in the sun, but these place mats are absolutely caustic and unable to be used in any sort of a meal setting. They look well done and very beautiful, but the smell is just absolutely unbelievable.

convenient
I keep these on side tables. They look sharp, and give a nice big area for setting down cups and teapots without the hassle of aiming at tiny coasters.
