Inspired by: Creed Royal Oud - Perfume Oil

Definitely not a 1:1, but still a very good twist on the OG DNA

For context, I have a vintage 2016 bottle of the OG and also a decant of the current formulation. In the immediate opening, this oil is very close to the OG, maybe 90% or more. Very quickly, however, the spices that are so strong in the OG die down, and it takes on a slightly sweeter/warmer nature than the OG. In effect, I think in the air it's still 80% close to the OG, but it's noticeably different up close on skin. I'm willing to bet that a decent amount of these differences are due to this being a pure oil vs. the atomized OG, as mixing it with alcohol and making it more volatile is what is giving the OG it's spicy and sparkling signature, especially in the opening. All that said, I'm going to keep my OG 2016 bottle, as it's still better, but I'll use this as a layering base to increase longevity, because it's still close enough that most non-fragheads probably couldn't tell.
