Mamalila Allrounder Navy Softshell Maternity and Babywearing Jacket

Best purchase of 2024 for us, hands down. We were highly skeptical of it's waterproofing as the fabric was so soft and comfortable AND machine washable. We went out on a rainy day (not quite a storm but definitely persistent and heavy rains) while wearing our baby WITHOUT a jacket and both of us stayed bone dry. Felted pockets are a huge plus. We sized up so we could layer for winter, really excited to get the fleece jacket to see how they play together. Curiosity, the panels are also great if you want to wear your backpack under your jacket/coat. It's true that the coat isn't the most flattering cut, but it's so utile that it's hardly a deal breaker.

I feel like everything LZO sells is such good quality and the outerwear is no exception! I got this coat in a size and color that would also work for my partner as he goes on a lot of walks with the baby and we didn’t want that to stop when the weather got cooler. The coat is very comfortable and the fleece lining keeps us really warm even when there’s snow on the ground. We haven’t tried back wearing yet but it’s very easy to use for front carrying. I love that I can use it to go into stores with her and not have a bunch of layers to take off once we’re inside.

This jacket is fantastic. If you’re hesitant, buy it! The quality is amazing and I can see myself using this as a ski jacket long after my baby outgrows the carrier. My only regret is I didn’t have something like this for my first child.
