Chinese Corkbark Elm Bonsai Starter

I received my corkbark Chinese elm promptly, and neatly packaged a little over 2 weeks ago. It arrived healthy, so I immediately repotted it into a pond basket. It's already pushing strong, new growth. The base has enough movement in it so that I already have plans to put it in the ground to speed its trunk development, and propagate cuttings. I've never worked with a corkbark variety before, and am looking forward to seeing how this variety responds to the year-round growing in my climate on Maui. I'm so glad that you propagate your starters in a soil-less medium, and are able to ship to Hawaii.

Great little tree

Arrived with a couple of tiny twig branches broken due to transport but as always, they never miss when it comes to quality and getting you your plant to you alive. I look forward to styling it and watching it grow it sent a nice beautiful 12 inch specimen that has a whole a lot of ramification potential thank you.
