Great kiln, confusing instructions

The kiln and delivery were first rate. However, the instructional literature that accompanied the kiln was, as it turned out, not the most up-to-date version. Not have the latest version of the operating and programming instructions caused quite a bit of confusion, something not resolved until the latest instructional materials were emailed from the kiln manufacturer.

Gift

Purchased as a gift for my wife for Xmas. She has only run it a couple times but so far, so good. Dealing with Soul Ceramics was great. Jen-Ken and Roadrunner (freight co), not so much. Given the 4-month delay to ship, it's hard to know if/when we'll be around to receive the order. It ended up being a bit of a confusing mess. But we received it and got it in good shape. Jen-ken forgot to include some of the inside furniture we ordered but Soul Ceramics got Jen-Ken to send it over, arriving a few weeks later. All in all, we're happy with Soul Ceramics and would feel comfortable ordering from them again. As for Jen-Ken, we're not off to the best start but the product seems to be working. We'll know for sure about quality & such after some time passes & my family gets some time working with it.

Tap Controller

The kiln arrived, I am very excited. I am disappointed that as a beginner the tap controller has no presets regarding ceramics. Presets for bisque firing or glaze firing would have made getting up and runner much easier for me. Other than that the kiln is perfect. Can't wait to start.
