Love these boots!

This is my second pair of Orthofeet shoes and I’ll keep buying. I have both plantar faciitis and a bunion and these boots keep my feet happy. Excellent on the waterproof side - well tested, and very comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Motorcycle Boots

I bought these boots after shopping online extensively. I needed good soles without them being bulky and these are just right. I also need good leather for protection and these fit the bill. They are not reinforced riding boots, but none of the other riding boots accommodate my extra wide feet. And bonus for me, these are light and comfortable enough to wear walking all day. I bought the extra wide. I also have arthritis on the tops of my feet and the laces let me loosen the boots when I need to.

Not a wide toe box

I had a pair of another brand of waterproof boots already but they weren't that comfortable for long hikes, so I bought these because it said "wide toe box." I did not find that to be the case at all and my little toes felt pinched. Otherwise they were nice, and cute. I didn't test the waterproof feature. I ended up using inserts with my old boots and they were more comfortable than the Dakota ones (I wore both on my usual daily walks to compare). Not sure how they think this is a wide toe box.
