Wonderful flavor, not overly intense.

Use it on pork and chicken. Gives it a unique flavor. Not hot, not too intense. Yummy

Was I expecting too much?

I love Aleppo pepper but then heard this was spicier than Aleppo and I wanted to try it. First sprinkled it on - no taste, then added with a heavy hand, and finally basically poured it on my food. Even putting it directly in my mouth gave no spicy taste at all. And I am someone who, on a good day, may be able to tolerate some medium spicy Indian food, but prefer it mild. What happened⁉️ Why no flavor⁉️ Very disappointed.

Try Something Different

Bought this because it was listed in a recipe I was trying . When it arrived, thought I would probably use it once and it would end up on the shelf. Not so. Has a very unusual taste - smoky, makes itself apparent in recipes - especially veggies and seems to have a peppery sweetness.
