Carmel Barefoot - Bunker

I give this a 4/5 stars due to fit issues. I'm usually a size 41 in barefoot shoes, but may size down to a 40 for sandals. I bought these in size 41. The leather around the toe is loose and the leather strap behind my heel pushes my foot forward, which makes my toes go over the front stitching at the top of my shoe (but not over the edge). The sandals are both too big and not big enough. I wish the toe box was ~slightly~ wider to accommodate my pinky toes without squishing them in and the big toe strap to be more snug/secure. I'm using the last hole available to keep my feet in place. Once the leather stretches, I may have to manually drill new holes so my heels don't slip out. On the other hand, I love the color of the leather and the style! Would still recommend to others for a stylish yet casual sandal.

Just received them : the leather feels very nice on the skin. My big toe has enough room, no discomfort or rubbing at all.

I absolutely love both pairs of sandals, they will definitely be my daily companions during the warm months. Up to now I never found any pair of barefoot sandals that looked and felt so good on my feet so I’m extra happy! Fit is true to size, leather is really soft and luxurious and also knowing that these shoes are made by passionate hands adds an extra layer of fulfilment in owning them.
