Took them on a walk to break them in before an event and both toes are gapping :( I wish the stitching went all the way through to the sole

Wow - these are the softest sandals I have ever had. And pretty! Felt great for a 5 km city walk - no blisters! They did fit a bit long - I ordered my usual EU 40, but I will size down to my usual US 9 (crupon 39) for my next pairs.
