Good setup for my camera and tethering laptop

Overall, very good

If you need quick repositioning of your camera in a controlled situation this works great. A couple of downsides though. It’s not as steady as a tripod and you’ll have to fire the camera with a cable release or remote to avoid camera shake with long exposures. The base is quite wide and when open is hard to maneuver in tight spaces. The pin attachment that is included should have a wide base. Manfrotto makes one and I replaced the one that came with a stand with the Manfrotto version. I’m not crazy about the fact you have to remove the casters to put the stand in the supplied bag. Other than that, for the price and if you have the specific need, It’s an excellent tool.

I love how easy it is to move up and down. Rolls smoothly when wheels are unlocked. Stays put when wheels are locked.
