Zaza Percussion - 9'' White Drum Head for Sombaty Egyptian Darbuka Doumbek- Collar /0.5''

FYI: Height is 3/8, has thinner plastic than the PowerBeats!

I got this head because the description indicates it's a 1/2 inch depth, and I'm tired of blowing through the other brands trying to stretch the plastic to come flush with the tuning collar. I don't know where you are measuring from, DP, but this Zaza has the same 3/8 height as the REMO heads. Also, nowhere in the description does it indicate these are a LOT thinner than the REMO or PowerBeat heads - but not as thin as the ones sold by EMIN. Which isn't a bad thing, just different. Wish these manufacturers could get this sorted out, I don't get why even GeF's heads won't fit their drums without stretching the bejeezus out of them. I love Darbuka Planet, tho!
