Go to minimal travel bag
I’ve been using the Ride Engine Day Strike Progressive Board Bag V3 for travel and it’s become my go-to board bag when chasing wind. My typical setup in the bag: 5'6" surfboard and a 143/144 twin tip. I pull the fins off both boards and slide pipe insulation over the rails of the surfboard for added protection. The twin tip goes in with no padding. The bag is lightweight but tough, which is key when flying. It has enough padding to keep boards safe without becoming some massive overweight travel coffin that airlines love charging extra for. The shape works really well for wider modern surfboards. The zippers are solid, the carry strap is comfortable, and it’s held up well getting dragged through airports, trucks, and boats. If you travel with one surfboard and one twin tip, this bag hits the sweet spot: simple, durable, and easy to travel with. Exactly what you want when the mission is wind, not luggage drama.

Bag not thick enough
The bag is of excellent quality but there was no thickness measurement given and my 5” thick mid board would not fit without being forced into the bag and since it was on sale I assumed I could not return. Now I’m forced to try and sell it
