Unnecessarily Heavy

The cooler is heavy, and that I was fully expecting. I don't see any reason for the divider and basket to be so thick and heavy. These 2 items alone weigh 1 oz. shy of 2 lbs. I would not purchase these items again, and instead I would look for something elsewhere to serve the purpose -- especially the basket. The basket is 7.5X8X3.5" and weighs more than 1 lb. It's super sturdy -- unnecessarily so. It would hold a cement block without bending. But in reality what will be put in such a small basket will be lightweight and not require something this "heavy" duty.

Nice cooler, they didn't have the color I wanted and changed it, but threw in an accessory kit for the trouble. It doesn't hold ice for 10 days unless it's fully packed with ice and you never open it, but real world test I got 6 days with ice floating and ice cold beer.
