I have to say at first I wasn't sure if this would be for me. Boy was I wrong, I'm completely hooked on building my own rods. Already started on #4 and I am getting another for father's day 🤷. Go ahead and give it a go you won't regret it

Disappointed in offerings

Based on the price, this kit fits the middle of the range for a build kit. There is a cheaper option and also a more expensive option. You would think that the mid range option would have everything from the base option, along with additions to warrant the extra expense. The more you pay the more supplies you get, right? No, for some reason this mid range build kit omits two of the most important items, pro paste and pro flex!!! For a beginner like myself I’m assuming the mid grade kit would include everything I need to get started. No it doesn’t. Why would the entry level kit include this but the higher grade kit not? Now I had to order the glues separately and wait another week before I can work on the rods. Frustrating.
