Okay for the price, tension adjustment is finicky

Good: I like the fact there are arrows molded into the plastic to show how to route the serving through all the "eyes". Bad: adjusting tension by tightening or loosening the spool wing nut is very finicky: there's only a tiny useful range of adjustment between "way too tight" and "way too loose" and this becomes even more frustrating when you've got one hand holding the serving thread on the string, the other holding the jig (like transitioning from serving to back-serving) and only have a couple fingers to adjust the nut. Even compared to my other inexpensive "brand X" serving jigs. Neutral: I worry a bit the serving will get damaged running through the various eyes, but haven't observed any problems the one time I've used it. Conclusion: spend a few dollars more on a slightly better jig, you'll be glad you did.
