I can honestly say that I have not had sweets since I started drinking this tea.

Taste is acceptable, effect is minimal for me.

I actually find being on the Cortisol AM & PM to be more effective for reducing sugar cravings than the sugar blend for me. I guess that means my sugar cravings are stress related? So I probably won't order this one again. But please do understand these teas are very good blends and I have no complaint of quality or freshness.
