Beautiful boots.

These boots are beautiful , well made and eye catching. My issue is that I have big calf’s because they are muscular so the boots have a large gap around the top of the knee which is a shame because they really are beautiful. They are also a generous foot fit , I ordered my usual 5 and they are pretty big so I’ll wear extra thick socks. I’m keeping them because they are gorgeous

I'd more or less sworn off tall boots as I can never find anything to fit my thunder calves. In addition I'm hopeless at wearing shoes with any kind of heel, plus I'm fussy about boots that are too plain. I had resigned myself to ankle boots. And then, this website. Custom width boots AND a low heel AND lacing up the front AND brogue details at the toe? I was in love. I ummed and ahhed over the purchase for a while (they are quite pricey, ofc) but if you're going to spend big on something in life, it should probably be mattresses and shoes, so I went for it. So far I'm really impressed. They came quickly, very carefully packaged in a nice box and the quality is superb. They have this beautiful brown lining and accents that looks really classy. I was very worried about them not fitting because my calves are exactly 47cm (the size I ordered, after wondering whether I should go for 50cm) but there's a little leeway with the lacing so you can loosen them up where it's too tight, or pull the laces where they're a little loose, meaning the whole leg gets a perfect fit. They're comfy, though obv they do need breaking in. My only gripe is I wish they came in UK half sizes. I'm 6.5, so I went up to a 7. The foot fits ok, but I'm going to try an insole to see if I can get the feet a little more snug.
