Organic Japanese Chickpea Miso Unpasteurised (150g)

It's miso but

...it's not as miso-ey as a miso should be. I love all kinds of miso, and loved the idea of a chickpea miso, but this was just a little underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it is still got umami flavour and is quite yummy paired with the right foods, but the depth is lacking and for being of such a good brand, I think it could be better. Worth a try if you like a milder miso or are another miso fiend like me who wants to try them all!

Prefer to avoid soy so delighted to discover a miso made from my favourite pulse ! Great flavour, used in soups and dips.
