Great for aqua running class!
Love this! Was using the leisure centre ones and they were uncomfortable so I decided to purchase my own. £6 cheaper on SS than on Amazon. In aqua running you need to be able to tether yourself from the back, onto the planed off ropes in the pool. This is because aqua running is done in the deep end and you have to be free to push legs up/ forward/ kick back/ side paddle/ run quite fast. This float belt allows you to do all of this but you need to stay in the same spot and not drift away.. I had to come up with a way of doing that so I bought some bungee cord with karabiner hooks on the end. Put a long one through the gaps front front to back, tied it off, cut it, used heat shrink n then attached the shorter 3’ to that n hooked the end of that, to the ropes in the pool.. As per photo it’s super lightweight and I’m 76kg so I went for the larger of the 2 and I’m glad I’m did. I’m only a 12-14 but there’s load of belt left at front for anyone who’s waist size is up to 44-46” . You’d get the belt fastened. I’d definitely follow the weight guide in these as although I am a slim 14, I think the next size down may not have been so comfortable. Excellent for anyone who needs to be buoyant in water. Post op/ physio needs etc etc I bought it purely for aqua running. I totally recommend

Good workout
For a first go at aquajogging I did 20 minutes, slowly up and down the pool. Running against the water was a little easier than I'd imagined but I felt it was doing a lot of good for my operated leg/hip.
