Bulbs, not compatible with other lights, set strings

I was a little disappointed to find out that the Christmas, Light Source does not sell individual bulbs. So I bought a string of 100 bulbs, but what I found was those bulbs were not compatible with the 50 bulb string. This made me remove the bombs from the bulb holder, and use the correct bulb holder with the 50 string light. I was using the small Christmas lights because we have some animated frame art for Christmas, and the strings are multicolor, Amber, red, green, and clear. In my case the majority of them were clear, but I had to add some Amber, some red, and some blue. so I ordered hundred bulb strings with a different colors and try to use those as replacement bulbs, but what I found was the bulb holders are not compatible. This caused a lot of extra labor, removing the bulb from the bulb holder socket, and replacing it with the correct one. It got the job done, but probably triple the time it took me to repair my lights
