Very useful iPod keep all the gear I need

Needed for the U10 but...

It is absolutely needed in order to have a place to store gear. Otherwise, there's nowhere in the kayak that will work. With that being said, if I spend $1700 on a kayak, this should come with it at no extra charge. Not an add on option but part of the kayak purchase every time. An extra $200 for a part that should be no more than $50-$75 is outrageous! Others mention it not being secure, I dont agree. It feels very secure once you tighten it down. I have the battery for my fish finder and lights mounted inside it and have no issues. I ran a yakpower system in it for all my power aside for the trolling motor and its a slick design.

It was very overpriced for what it is but very well made! This should be no more than $100 in my opinion. I mounted my electronics to the pod rather than the kayak. Nav lights, fish finder, and usb port are all hooked to an 8 channel power station inside the pod. Take this off the kayak and all my electronics aside from the trolling motor come with it. Theres still plenty of room left inaide to store other gear as well. Highly recommend this product!
