Excellent quality tripod leveling head!

I use this half ball tripod leveling head with the PMG TR 344 Carbon Fiber Tripod. Great combo together!

ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE THE REGULAR APEX

I ordered this tripod leveling head, at the same time as I ordered my tripod. However, I ordered the tripod with the compact apex, due to weight savings (Wildlife photography @ 13,000ft + and long walks, every oz counts). How ever, when I went to install it, it does not work with the compact head (see photos), so I guess I have to order the regular head now and spend an extra $180.... but the product is very sturdy and well build, like everything from ProMediaGear. The new one comes with a leveling bubble, which will be very useful.
