The colors used here are Natural, Denim, and Spice. I was pleased with the Mallo yarn. It makes a hefty but soft towel, and would also be entirely appropriate as a placemat. One problem I had was achieving the length specified in the pattern. Being newish to weaving, I tend to beat hard (have since learned to be gentler), so I did a progressively lighter beat with each towel. Hence, each is a slightly different length, but that's ok. However, even with a very light touch, I was still a good 1-2 inches short of the specified length. ?? At any rate, I like the pattern, yarn, and colors I chose.

Incredibly forgiving pattern/yarn!

I wove these a bit smaller to make napkins! It's an incredibly forgiving pattern... I found errors I had made in threading AND occasional errors in treadling sequence (my fault, not the pattern) as I went along and they still turned out lovely. Small floats/pattern variations really weren't noticable after washing due to the thick/thin nature of the yarn. If I were gonna change anything, I'd weave the hem with a finer yarn to make a less bulky hem. But otherwise all good, and I'll def make them again!

This was my first weaving project on my first floor loom! Woo hoo! I found the directions clear and easy to follow. I loved seeing the colors mingle together as I wove. I am so happy with these towels!
