Bloch's Balance Lisse pointe shoe has been my daughter's go-to shoe for a while now. Over the years of trying different brands and styles, this is her favorite. She feels confident and secure in the structure of the shoe and the slimmer design of the heel is a plus in the fit/look.

Like European Balance but with improvements

I bought a pair of Balance Lisse after having worn European Balance for several years. I really liked the EBs but really hated the heel which pinched into my achilles, and the next size up to relieve the heel pinching was way too big. The Balance Lisse has a lower heel that doesn't curve in at the heel binding and sits perfectly flat against the back of my foot. It doesn't pinch or dig into my heel. The insole also feels a little shorter in the Lisse which I prefer as I feel it less under my foot while standing flat. I did find that the Balance Lisse has a slightly roomier box with a bit of a higher profile. I went down a width to compensate. Overall, I prefer the Balance Lisse and will probably stick with it a while.
