In-Line Water Resistant Double Pole Switch

Switch - needs some improvement to design

The terminals for the wiring are quite small and fiddly to crimp which then are secured by a small screw through the each terminal. I ended up soldering the wires to ensure a secure connection. The main issue is the cable entry grommet/gland which is much bigger than the cable size required for the size of terminals i.e. this appears to compromise the waterproofing. As I was using small cable I ended up taping and using a sealant to try an ensure water could not run into the switch.

Exactly what I thought I was buying

Faulty switch supplied (again!)

Delivery service was great but the switch was faulty and does not turn on and off properly (the primary function of an on/off switch!) This is the second switch we have had with this fault. It must be a dodgy batch as the first one we purchased a few months ago works perfectly.
