Excited to try Carv out when we go skiing in two weeks.

A private lesson without the cost of a private lesson

I have found this device to be invaluable. The feedback is immediate and suggestions for improving or remediating technique is great. I’m not a big fan of the design of the subscription model or the need to use a proprietary charger, and I felt those problems acutely this year. I thought I could use a USB-C to charge the batteries and after arriving more than 1000 miles from home, I had dead batteries and no way to use the device for days I had already paid. I should be able to bank unused days into the following year or to receive a refund for unused days. Other than that, I enthusiastically recommend this ski teaching device.

Reached a plateau

I like Carv especially the active coaching but it needs to integrate across the modes. So when i was struggling to improve I just get the same tips and things to think about, i got those the first time, repeating them is not helpful and becomes annoying. Instead it should try to identify the root of the problem from the metrics and switch to another mode, suggest some videos as some of the Carv ones on YouTube are very helpful. Also I suspect that when i first started i appeared to make good progress but all i was doing was progressing to my current level, going beyond that despite all of the advice isnt working. Would help to have longer descriptions of whati need that takes account of all of the modes.
