I am a better skier now, but the system is very sensitive to conditions. Scores can easily vary 20-30 points on the same run on different days depending on snow conditions. It needs perfect conditions.

Midwest user

Skiing in the midwest, runs are quite short, so Carv has been helpful to give a purpose to each run. Bombing the short runs is pointless, so I prefer to turn a lot. I like the coaching while skiing and after getting on the lift. I have to believe the Carv training can only help when taking my ski trip out west this spring, but for sure, it keeps up my interest over the course of the season.

A Great Addition to Skiing

I've had my Carvs for a little over a year now. The system has provided me with some great insight to skiing improvements. My wife and I each bought a set, then purchased a couple more sets this year as holiday gifts. These devices do provide an uncanny insight into your skiing performance. Live instructors have their role, but no one can measure the subtle nuances these sensors can provide.
