This is my first time growing Tomatillo. Good germination rate, slow growing. Early days yet.

I believe I planted a total of 12 seeds on July 5th (3 per pod for a total of 4 pods). I used MiracleGro seed starting soil and Bonviee seed trays with plant lights to get these going and I already have germination in 1 pod with 1 seedling as of July 10. I’m exciting because I’ve never planted ground cherries before. The seess were so tiny and delicate, and was also not expecting germination this soon. These are going to be such a yummy snack once they start fruiting and falling to the ground.

Great seeds any way you germinate them!
First off, there were A LOT of seeds in the seed packet. I have heard different ways to germinate the tomatillo seeds, one way was just to spread seeds on the surface and not bury them, the other way would be to bury them 1/4". Because of the amount of seeds I was able to test both out and turns out, both methods yielded great germination results!
