Best Camo Covering for Supertelephoto Lenses Available

This is the second CamShield I have purchased. The first I used for years on my Canon 500mm is V2. I recently upgraded my bird/wildlife lens to the 600mm is V3 and I did not hesitate to buy a CamShield for it as well. I love the ease of putting it on and the extra support it gives against knocks and moisture when compared to competitive products. Although a little more expensive, I feel it is a much better value to the overpriced offerings from those providing simple neoprene covers. Additionally, there is no need to stick adhesive sections onto your lens with the CamShield. Needing to sell my 500mm lens, it took some considerable time and effort removing the adhesive residue from a previous competitor's product I had once used. Although I do think this is a 5-star product and do not hesitate in recommending to anyone, I do have some minor criticisms. First, the access to the drop-in filter can be difficult. I don't use my CPL very often, but kind of dread when I do. I'm not sure what alternative mechanism might be used to gain easier access while still providing the protection the cover gives, but this is something that could potentially be improved upon. Next, although I love that they provide a lens hood, it is kind of cumbersome in the execution of installing it. It takes too much time to install and remove in my opinion - no better than the offering that comes with the lens. This is not a big deal in my circumstance as I prefer to use the plastic pinch cap provided by Zemlin. The CamShield lens hood will simply sit in the box. Overall, I am happy with my CamShield and I am certain it will provide years of good use.
