Hand-painted Decorative Ceramic Portuguese Blue Floral Tile Spoon Rest

Floral spoon rest

I am very happy with the design I chose for my floral spoon rest. My only issue is that spoons don't lay flat in it. What would be helpful would be to design a ceramic spoon rest with a perpendicular ridge in the handle that has a curved shallow "U"-shaped notch in the middle, about 4.5" from the bottom of the handle, so that a spoon handle can sit securely in the spoon rest.
