Great materials, but not practical for camera bags

Solid folding hook design, and material However because of the length, does not work with bag handles as the body of the bag doesn’t fit with camera bag to weight tripod down. Tried with both PD bag and Lowepro bags. Could perhaps add paracord to the handle but otherwise feels like a waste on the 284 LS Ranger Tripod

Very happy with the Hook Attachment for the tripod and will help with weighing down the tripod with my bag. Wish it was included in the original purchase.
