Easy but careful

I love how easily this mat moves without disturbing the work in progress on top. I was also startled by how easily it shifts when you are actually trying to cut fabric. I figured out quickly to cut gently and carefully with that in mind.

I have been a very active quilter for 8 years and have wanted one of these for most of that time. Finally treated myself!! So glad to be able to use this tool. No more moving the block as I square it! Just lovely.
